Two Milestones Worth Celebrating!

This year marks a significant milestone for HURT. It has been 30 years since the company was founded, while its founder, Josef Hurt, is also celebrating his 80th birthday. Both remarkable anniversaries were celebrated together on Saturday, August 29.

The story of HURT began in 1996 in the garage of a family home in Kojice. From these modest beginnings, the company gradually grew into a successful business and later moved to Týnec nad Labem. In 2004, a new assembly and production workshop was established there, followed in 2009 by the construction of a new assembly and production hall, where the company continues to operate today.

Behind 30 years of HURT’s success are, above all, its people. Employees, colleagues, customers, and business partners from the Czech Republic and abroad have all contributed to the company’s development over the years and helped shape it into what it is today.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who has been, and continues to be, part of the HURT story.

This year, we once again participated in the REHACARE trade fair in Düsseldorf, and we are pleased to report that our exhibition attracted considerable interest.

We presented:

• A newly modified VW Transporter T7 with one interesting new feature – a lift for people including wheelchairs. This is currently a prototype, which we will gradually improve to ensure that it meets the required load capacity and guarantees acceptable safety.
• A demonstration of all types of HURT-e wheelchair drives, including the presentation of the new HURT-e Elegance variant, which has a removable battery in an aluminium case in the colour of the tube.

We exhibited again at the Rehacare trade fair in Düsseldorf. It is the largest trade fair for rehabilitation aids in the world. As always, the largest manufacturers of components for disabled cars were present, among which we could not miss.

After a long time, we saw many suppliers and customers and discussed new business opportunities.

The new Caddy is now casual car at our workshop.

As usual, we participated in the largest trade fair of aids and services for handicapped Rehaprotex in Brno. We introduced a newly adaptated Citroen Berlingo demo of the latest generation. As part of our cooperation in the trefoil of mobility, we were side by side with HURT, KURY (a truck manufacturer) and PEML (a special driving school). We introduced the electric power attachment HURT-e, our new mobility product. HURT-e received the Golden Rehaprotex award. Look at the photos and especially the video below.

For a better look, we have prepared a collection of color variants of the leather, which can be coated with the plastic cover of the lever and the handle.
