For some vehicles where the difference between the seat height and the wheelchair height is too great, we recommend using a special seat. When turned, this device extends out of the vehicle and lowers to the height of the wheelchair. The seat extension is controlled by an electric control. We usually install this seat in more spacious cars, such as the Citroen Berlingo, Renault Kangoo, Ford Connect, and other larger cars.
The same solution can be used in vans in the second row of seats, which will be particularly useful for special schools, retirement homes, or companies transporting disabled persons. The electrically operated seat slides out of the vehicle and lowers to such an extent that a disabled person can sit down comfortably or transfer from a wheelchair. For the lifing seat, we usually use a special seat designed for this modification. On request, the original seat can be used if the installation conditions allow it. The seat lift is 39.5 cm, and the load capacity is 150 kg.
